Swangz Avenues’s star girl Zawedde Priscilla, a.k.a. Azawi, is preparing to set Kampala on fire with her maiden concert dubbed ‘African Music Concert’ at Lugogo grounds next month.
Azawi has become a household name both in Uganda and across the African continent despite having been in the entertainment industry for a short time along side Vinka and Winnie Nwagi in the same record label Swangz Avenue.
Azawi rose to fame in late 2019 and afterward, COVID-19 hit the world and everything, music inclusive, went into an enforced hibernation.
But having been signed under the biggest record label in Uganda, Azawi used the lockdown period to make an album that she released last year.
Azawi’s songs off that album have sold like a hot cake, both in and outside Uganda.
Now, the party mood hit maker has announced that on July 22nd, 2022, she will have a concert at Lugogo grounds that will put the city on fire.
