Kampala: President Yoweri Museveni has appointed Jenifer Bamuturaki Uganda Airlines CEO. The Minister of Works Gen Katumba Wamala has confirmed the appointment in a letter to the board of Uganda Airlines.
The appointment of Bamuturaki, who has been acting CEO, means efforts to recruit through adverts run on June 24 through PWC, have been abandoned.

The former CEO Cornwell Muleyi who was sent on forced leave and later suspended in May 2021, has been charged for disobeying the Inspectorate of Government orders.
