Breaking: Pallisa Woman MP Dies At Mulago Hospital

Faith Alupo, the Woman Member of Parliament for Pallisa District has passed on, parliament has announced.
Alupo passed on at Mulago Hospital yesterday evening according to acting Director of Communications at Parliament, Ms. Hellen Kaweesi.
Further reports indicate that the law maker died during child birth but it is also alleged that she might have succumbed to the deadly Covid-19 but that is yet to be confirmed.

However parliament the maintains their earlier statement that; The cause of her death is not yet known. Kaweesa said a statement on her actual cause of death will be availed soon
“What we are aware of now is that we have lost a Member of Parliament. She died last evening, a statement will be taken out as soon as we have all the facts,” she said.
Alupo Faith is a female Ugandan Politician. She is the woman Member of Parliament, representing Pallisa District in the Parliament of Uganda.
She was elected to that position in June 2018 after the former Forum for Democratic Change’s (FDC) Woman MP candidate for Pallisa, Catherine Achola was disqualified by the Electoral Commission from the race on grounds that the names she had used for nomination do not tally with those on her academic qualification.
