Bright stars FC signs Japanese Kazuto Kushida Kazuto

Uganda Premier League side SOLTILO Bright Stars FC has today confirmed the signing of experienced Japanese international Kazuto Kushida who has joined from Thailand top division club Chonburi Football Club.

Kushida Kazuto is a central midfielder aged 34 with a defensive attribute. Soltilo Bright Stars unveiled Kushida following various training sessions that the experienced Japanese has undergone under close supervision from the technical team.

“Kazuto is a very intelligent player with a good passing range and versatility in the midfield. We have trained with him for some time and can’t wait for him to get started on what we know will be a great experience in Uganda”, Coach Baker Mbowa on Kushida via the club’s Facebook page.

With his experience attained from various countries like Australia, Thailand and Japan, his defending and play
making ability plus his good passing skill as described by his new home.

Kushida is expected to play a pivotal role in boosting Bright Stars’ midfield to see them maintain or even perform better than they did last season, where they finished 5th behind KCCA FC with 42 points in the 27 games they played in the Startimes Uganda Premier League 2020-21 season.
