Crested Cranes squad traveling to Ethiopia for 2022 AWCON Qualifiers

Ruth Aturo will captain the Uganda Crested Cranes squad that Head Coach George Lutalo has named for the return leg of the second round of 2022 Africa Women Cup of Nations Qualifiers away against Ethiopia.

The Uganda Women’s national football team the Created Cranes has today safely landed in Ethiopia for their race to the Africa Women Nations Cup qualifiers.

The forthcoming fixture is a return leg of the first leg that was held in Uganda at the St. Mary’s Stadium that yielded a result in favor of the Crested Cranes.

Thanks to Riticia Nabbosa’s opener that was supplemented by Fauzia Najjemba’s header that secured three points and a 2:0 goal advantage by the end of the 90 minutes.

The Crested Cranes shall engage in the encounter on Tuesday 26th October 2021.
