Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan returns to KCCA FC

Goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan returns to KCCA FC

Benjamin Ochan’s two-year signature summed it to a total of 10 new recruits at the MTN Omondi Stadium. Benjamin Ochan’s return for the third stint was confirmed by the club via their weekly TV show.

The shot-stopper returns for his third stint at KCCA FC. The first was in 2008/9, the second in 2015/18, and now the third 2021/23.

One of his remarkable achievements at KCCA FC is his big hand in the team’s qualification for the CAF Confederation Cup group stages, something that had never been achieved by any Ugandan club before.

“I am happy to be back. This is the team I grew up supporting, I have won things here and I hope I can win a few more. I am excited to get started. The team has a number of youngsters now compared to then and they need to be guided. Being one of the senior players in the team I will be able to offer guidance to the lads.

I want to win with KCCA FC. Could be the League of the Cup. The fans should expect beautiful football because we want to get back at the top” Ochan Benjamin told the club media.

Ochan left KCCA FC in 2018 for Zambian side Kabbwe Warriors, shifted to Kenyan giants AFC Leopards before returning to KCCA FC. With the Kasasiro Boys, the experienced custodian is set to work with Derrick Ochan and Ali Mwirusi in the goalkeeping department.
