Kyambogo University vice chancellor Prof Elly Katunguka is proposing a phased graduation for students who have completed their studies.
This comes after some students who completed their final exams are getting anxious over delays in releasing graduation dates.
Prof Katunguka revealed that since students in various faculties completed requirements for graduation at different times, due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the university may consider having them graduating at different times but virtually.
He further noted that following the president’s directive for Education institutions to reopen next month, Kyambogo university is also set to reopen on the 1st March.
About 20,000 students are expected to report back for studies to the Banda based university however cautioned them to keep in mind that Covid-19 is real and they have observe the SOPs
