Prof Barnabas Nawangwe revealed in a tweet that the University Senate has set 10 to 14th May as the graduation dates for their graduands adding that the university is doing all the necessary arrangements for the ceremony amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic
Makerere University had earlier set 12th March as the graduation date but Nawangwe says due to unavoidable circumstances, the event had to be pushed to May.
Makerere also noted that they will only allow Masters and Doctorate (PhD) graduands to access the graduation ceremony physically which will be held at Freedom Square inside the campus as a means of enforcing SoPs in control against the spread of Covid-19.
