Makerere University commences online exams

Makerere University has commenced online exams today 13th September 2021. The online exams will run up to 30th September 2021.

According to the principal public relations officer, Makerere University, Ritah Namisango all the other modalities for carrying out the online alternative assessment exams are going on well and students are doing the exams as scheduled except the modality for Real-Time (Live) Quiz Based exams which encountered some technical issues.

Namisango however noted that the technical team will fix the issues within one week thus the postponement adding that real-time quiz sessions will kick off on 20th to 30th of this month.

”The University Management has postponed only the online component which was to be done using the Real-Time (Live) Quiz based examinations for one week (13th to 19th September 2021) so as to give DICTS time to sort out all pending failure points that are making MUELE unable to support large student numbers for real-time (live) examinations. The halted component of real-time (live) quiz will be administered in one week from 20th to 30th September 2021”. Namisango told this website.
