Moka Energy Fuel Station Along Entebbe Road on Fire

Police firefighters in Entebbe are currently battling fire flames that burst at a Moka Petroleum Station on Monday evening.
According to sources on the scene, the fires have paralyzed Entebbe road traffic which is known to hefty in the evening rush hours.
“Moka energy petrol station in Kitala Entebbe Road has caught fire and paralysed transport around the area. Police fire fighter’s currently battling the flames,” a source revealed.
The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Kampala metropolitan assistant police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire has since confirmed this after releasing a statement reading thus;
“Police at Entebbe Municipality have today (21.09.2020) at around 05:40 PM, put out a fire that broke out at Moka Energy Petrol station located at Kitala Garuga Road. Two fire tenders arrived at the scene and were able to contain the fire from spreading any further.
Preliminary investigations show that the fire could have started from one truck (Canter ) which was loading fuel in jerrycans that were to be transported to a landing site.The fire later spread to sedan car before it was extinguished by our officers. No casualties have been registered.”
