In just two days left to polls on Thursday, President Yoweri Museveni has in another abrupt change in government made reshuffles to Resident District Commissioners.
RDC are his representatives in districts and are the heads of security in those respective districts. However, some RDCs have been seen as active while others are considered none performing.
“Kaguta Museveni has reshuffled resident district commissioners. Full list to be publicized shortly,” Wanyama said on Twitter.
The move to reshuffle RDC’s has been seen as one to bolster security in different areas as the country heads to the polls.
Already, deployment has been beefed up in the city center and several urban areas across the country.
