NCHE Endorses Victoria University’s worldclass online learning systems

The national council for higher education (NCHE) has endorsed Uganda’s leading education hub Victoria university to continue conducting online lessons and examinations for the next one year.

Following the out break of Covid-19 early last year, all educational institutions were closed for physical learning and institutions had to devise means for online lessons.

While other higher institutions of learning are still stuck in lockdown, Victoria University has taken the lead in online learning systems which has guaranteed continuous learning despite Covid-19 related restrictions.

Now in a letter dated 10th September addressed to the vice chancellor Victoria University, NCHE has granted permission to the university due to the state of the art and word class online learning systems that have enabled their students to thrive and carry on with education not only in Uganda but across Africa.

”Iam pleased to inform you that after due consideration, the national council for higher education has granted you permission to continue implementing the Emergency Open distance E-learning system and to also conduct online examinations for only programs accredited by the national council for higher education for 12 months”.
