The National Unity Platform(NUP) supporters are gathering at the Nalufenya gate where their Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is being held.
Kyagulanyi was arrested yesterday in Luuka district where he was slated to hold his campaigns.
He’s arrest led to an outbreak of protests across different parts of the country and the death of three people leaving 34 others critically injured and are currently admitted in different hospitals across the country while several others are still detained.

Kyagulanyi was reportedly arrested for defying the Electoral Commission guidelines. Opposition presidential candidates like Alliance for Transformation President Gen. Mugisha Muntu, Tumukunde, Forum for Democratic Change Amuriat who was also arrested and released have halted their campaigns until Kyagulanyi is set free.
