NUP appoints deputy spokesperson
The National Unity Platform (NUP) has appointed Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro as its deputy spokesperson.
Waiswa was unveiled on Tuesday, 12 October 2021 at the party headquarters by Dr. Lina Zedriga, the NUP vice president.
Before his new role, Waiswa has been the Head of Patriotism and Ideology at NUP and now will be assisting the party mouthpiece Joel Ssenyonyi and also Nakawa west member of parliament
Following the appointment, Waiswa vowed to use his words to disorganize the NRM government.
“I will take on this responsibility with the nobility it deserves. Expect the loudest noise from the Deputy Speaker. I will work hand in hand with the Spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi who is now a lawyer,” Waiswa said.
