Simple Ways To Guard Your Heart

Everyone who’s ever tried to guard their heart against all sorts of impurities and wrongs knows that it’s not an easy thing to do. It requires much effort, demands much vigilance, and needs a strong commitment to keep guarding it at all times.

Your whole life is haboured by your heart. This means the state of your heart will dictate that state of your life regardless. Over time we have heard that we need to guard our hearts. It seems like a joke always until the time comes when you wish you actually sealed your heart. Every thing you let in may always come easy but when you have to let go there is always a lot on the line.

Be careful to always sieve what you listen to, the things you give your attention. These are the very things that occupy space in our hearts that you can’t even explain how they got in there. It may always start with just a simple word and later results into a simple act to later take up a very huge place in your heart. The things that destroy men do not necessarily start from out, they start from within.

Any idea always starts within your inner man and later manifests through your actions. Love and hatred breed from the place and whatever you give chance to grow, will surely become the best of you. Be cautious, obviously not living under tension but counting your every step.

Your life always revolves around the kind of thoughts you have towards it. Your every thought comes from the things that your heart keeps. Every thing that your heart keeps, comes from the things you constantly surround yourself with. This cycle obviously continues depending on how you want view it. Whether you agree with it or not, when you sit down and evaluate, you shall know that it actually works that way.

Keep your heart, don’t be easily swept off your feet by anything just because it looks good. Let everything you have to trust go through a process because it’s worth it.
