Singer Victor Kamenyo Exposes Injustices In Bobi Wine’s NUP After Being Denied Party Ticket

Singer Derrick Katongole aka Victor Kamenyo has exposed the injustices within the National Unity Platform (NUP)’s electoral commission.
The Luga-flow rapper who was recently denied the NUP ticket to contest for Lord Councillor Rubaga North seat, says that he was unfairly treated by people in the big offices.
Kamenyo claims that the secretary general of NUP’s electoral commission used his position and awarded himself the NUP ticket as the party’s flag bearer for Lord Councillor Rubaga North, something that’s against the party’s constitution.

“My President there is someone who used badly the office we gave him as Secretary Electro Commission (EC) NUP, he is also contesting for Lord councillor something which is not allowed, he also gave himself a card. I know that my President doesn’t allow this,” Kamenyo said.
The singer further stated that he already petitioned against this injustice within the party but the concerned people have failed to respond to him.
“I have petitioned him but I’ve not yet got the response and yet they are stopping tomorrow to accept Lord councillor forms, I am begging for truth and justice my president,” he said.
Kamenyo aside, most musicians who include Jose Chameleone, Kalifah Aganaga among others were also denied the NUP ticket and its not certain if this was done on intention or the musicians lack the required credentials.
