Sodo Kaguta Punches Kuteesa’s Daughter In Mawogola, Leaves Her ‘Toothless’

Sodo Aine Kaguta the young brother to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is leading Shartsi Musherure Kutesa the daughter to Foreign Affairs Minister Sam Kahamba Kutesa in Mawogola North NRM Primaries.
According to preliminary results coming from different polling stations, Sodo Kaguta is ahead of Shartsi Kutesa.
Results further showed that Sodo beat Shartsi at her home polling station with over 25 votes.
Sodo polled 17,775 representing 46.3% while Musherure has 16,155 votes (42.17%) . The other candidate, Kiseka has 4,415 vote.

A total of 150 polling station went to the polls in Mawogola North on Wednesday, 30 September 2020.
The election kicked off at 12pm and vote turn out was big, with many NRM supporters seen lining up to support their candidates.
“Sodo is so far leading Shartsi Kutesa with narrow margin but vote counting is still on going but any thing can happen now, NRM Elections are very funny,” says one of the NRM officials in Sembabule.
The Mawogola NRM Primaries have been cancelled for three times citing some vote bribery, rigging, intimidation among others from the camps of both Sodo and Shartsi.
Security was heavily deployed in the area to avoid violence during and after elections.
Chairman Electoral Commission for NRM Dr Tanga Odoi who camped at the district will announce the final winner in the due course.
