Kampala: Different Bus companies and other transport operators have revised transport fares for passengers plying different routes following a ban on inter-district movements.

Following President Museveni’s nation address on Sunday evening over the COVID19 situation in the country, Museveni said that both Public and Private transport from one district to another is suspended effective 10th June.

Initially, the fares were as follows: Kampala to Fortportal was around Sh 30k to Shs 40k, Kampala to Kasese was between Shs45k to Shs 50k, Kampala to Kyenjojo was Shs 60k, Kampala to Mubende was  shs20 to Shs25k, Kampala to Bwera was Shs30k.
