Uganda Confirms 1,122 New Covid-19 Cases In One day

 

The Uganda Ministry of Health has announced that the country has registered 1,122 new cases from the results of COVID-19 tests done on 12 June 2021.

The country further reported 6 more COVID-19 death bringing the total number of deaths to 434 and 63,099 cumulative confirmed cases.

Active cases on admission at a health facility are 920 with Cumulative recoveries at 48,480.

The breakdown of the new cases are:
1,119 Contacts and Alerts: Kampala 832, Wakiso 93, Gulu 44, Tororo 24, Budaka 21, Luwero 20, Busia 18, Mukono 11, Moroto 8, Kabarole 7, Bugiri 7,

Other cases are; Jinja 6, Namisindwa 6, Kiboga 4, Maracha 3, Kiryandongo 3, Koboko 2, Adjumani 1, Packwach 1, Buikwe 1, Hoima 1, Soroti 1, Mayuge 1, Mbale 1, Arua 1, Bukwo 1, Mbarara 1.

Three more Truck Drivers including Kampala 2 and Amuru 1 tested positive.
