UNEB To Release 2020 UCE Results Tomorrow

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has confirmed the release date for results from the 2020 O-Level Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) examinations.

Education and sports minister first lady Janet Museveni has confirmed that the results will be released tomorrow Friday following a briefing from UNEB.

“Following the briefing of the Minister by Uneb, it has been confirmed that the 2020 UCE examination results will be released by the Minister for Education and Sports Janet Museveni this Friday July 30, 2020,” UNEB said in a statement.

“The Scientific function will take place at State House Nakasero, starting at 12:00 Noon. It will be broadcast live on all National Radio and TV stations, and streamed live on UNEB’s social media channels.”
A total of 333,889 candidates registered for end of secondary level (O-Level) UCE examinations.

The majority of the candidates are female (50.1) per cent while the test (49.8) are males.
A total of 148,135 candidates were funded by government under the Universal Secondary Education (USE) program while 185,754 candidates registered as Non-USE candidates.
Some 47 candidates registered from Upper Prison Inmates Secondary School, Luzira.
