Video: MP Betty Nambooze Survives Death after being attacked by machete-wielding assailants

The Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament Hon. Betty Nambooze is currently living in fear after surviving an attempted attack on her life by suspected machete-wielding assailants in the wee hours of the morning.

In a video shared on social media, Nambooze has broken down into tears narrating a story of how the attacker ordered her to say her last prayer before lynching her.

Her husband had already left the bed and was in the sitting room holding his usual morning prayers. She says the rest of the family members were busy with their usual morning duties.

“I was shocked to see a strange man standing in the middle of my bedroom with a panga and spear,” said Nambooze

Nambooze however has not disclosed details of the attack or if any of her family members were harmed but we shall keep you updated.

According to the latest reports, two pangas were found near Nambooze’s house but according to her no in her family was harmed.
