With just one goal scored for Vipers SC, Shaban Muhammad is on his way back to Onduparaka FC as per reports linking the former KCCA FC with a move out of Vipers SC.
Shaban Muhammad joined Vipers SC in 2019 with an injury that saw him undergo a successful operation that kept him out of football action for months.
On his return on December 2020, he scored on his debut for Vipers SC as the Venoms shared spoils away against Wakiso Giants in the Uganda Premier League. It’s on that goal that he still stands as far as his Vipers SC statistics are concerned.
At Vipers SC the striker has not had ample playing time not just for the operation he underwent during his early contract days but also due to the suspension that the club imposed on the striker due to indiscipline. It’s reported that Shaban vandalized dressing room property after he was given very few playing minutes on the pitch as Vipers SC faced his former bosses KCCA FC in a league game.
The former Raja Casablanca striker is currently linked with a move back to the Caterpillars with Onduparaka confirming to be in talks with his current bosses Vipers SC.
Although Onduparaka has just confirmed holding talks, there have been confirmations from the media around Arua that the deal is not far from done.
